For outdoor cameras, an IP65 or higher waterproof and dustproof rating is necessary to withstand various weather conditions. IP65 prevents dust entry and resists low-pressure water jets, IP66 can resist strong water jet impacts, and IP67 prevents dust entry and can withstand immersion in water for a short period.
